BEGINNING STAINED GLASS: In this program you will learn
the basic copper foil technique. While making a sun catcher and
a panel of your own, you will learn glass cutting, foiling, soldering
and finishing. Tools and materials for the class are additional.
Class is limited to 6. Fee is $125.00.
May 7 - June 11 Wednesday 6:30pm - 9pm
May 8 - June 12 Thursday 6:30pm - 9pm
July 9 - July 24 Wed & Thur 6:30pm - 9pm
CUTTING WORKSHOP: Review the basics of cutting. We will
go over the principals of glass cutting and how to persuade the
glass to break where you want it to. This is a hands-on workshop,
so bring your cutting and breaking tools.
Class is limited to 6. Fee is $45.
May 25 Saturday Noon - 2pm
SOLDERING WORKSHOP: Open to anyone who is having trouble
getting a smooth solder bead. This is a hands-on workshop, so
bring your soldering tools and scraps of glass foiled and ready
to practice on.
Class is limited to 6. Fee is $45.
June 15 Saturday Noon - 2pm
PATTERING DICHROIC GLASS: Explore the different ways to
use dicro slide to enhance your jewelry; create unique designs
with an etching cream and finally see how easy it is to use 22kt
gold decals. This is a hands-on class. Students will create their
own pendants. No fusing experience is necessary. All supplies
and material are provided. Students are welcomed to bring paper
punches.
Class is limited to 8. Fee is $200.
June 25 & 26 Wed & Thur 6:30pm - 9pm
PAINTING OF GLASS: Students will learn the techniques
of tracing the design of a Fred head with the traditional glass
paint on Saturday and the techniques of matting and removing of
the paint to create shading on the face of the Fred on Sunday.
We will be firing the traced Fred head Saturday night and the
matted Fred head on Sunday night. DAVID MYERS is the guest instructor
for this class.

Safety rules everyone
must follow regardless of age when taking one of the above classes.
- No open-toed
shoes
- No food or
drink in the class area
- No running
or throwing in the glass store
- Wash your
hands when leaving the work table (some products contain lead)
- Long hair
must be pulled back out of your eyes
- Whenever possible,
wear long pants to protect your legs from burns and cuts
- Safety glasses
should be worn at all times
*Classes will be canceled for low enrollment. All classes need
at least 4 to go.
NEW REGISTRATION POLICY
A 50% deposit is required when signing up for a class. No space
will be held without the deposit.
A refund less 15% processing fee will be refunded if you cancel
your enrollment 14 days prior. No exceptions.
A full refund will be given if the class is cancelled.
